Born in the Garhwal Himalayas. Formulated with restraint.
Botanical skincare developed with the researchers of Global Menopause Collective, and guided by two frameworks: Endo Neutral for the body, NTFDP for the forest.
“Hormones fluctuate. Hormone Safe doesn't.”

The Endo Neutral framework · Hormone Safe
Most products promise to do something to your body. We begin with a different question: how do we avoid disturbing it unnecessarily?
Respect
The endocrine system is one of the most sophisticated regulatory systems in nature. Respect comes before intervention.
Reduce
Reduce avoidable endocrine interference, thoughtfully and consistently, over years. Not eliminate. Reduce.
Restore
Support the conditions healthy physiology depends on: sleep, food, movement, rest and a lighter chemical load.
Three systems, one conversation
Hormones, botanicals and skin are not separate subjects.
Endo Neutral brings them together with one question: does this respect the body, or disturb it unnecessarily?
The body's messaging network
Hormones are messengers. The endocrine system is the whole network that carries them, shaping sleep, mood, metabolism and skin. It is remarkably intelligent, and easily disturbed.
Plants are chemistry too
Himalayan botanicals, sourced under NTFDP and chosen for what they do, and for what they do not do to the endocrine system. Natural is not automatically safe; considered is.
An endocrine organ
Skin listens to hormones and takes part in their chemistry. In perimenopause, many women notice the change in their skin first. What we put on it every day deserves real thought.
In rhythm
Your body keeps time. So should what you give it.
Hormones rise and fall across every day, and for many women across every month. Skin, sleep, energy and appetite follow. Rather than one fixed routine, we match a few considered products to the moments they are most useful: never to push hormones, only to support what the body is already doing.
Across the day
Wake, and protect
Cortisol peaks shortly after waking. Skin is coolest and its barrier strongest. Begin without adding another stimulant.

Refresh, don't add
Skin oil and warmth peak in the early afternoon, and energy dips. Cool down rather than layer on more.

Repair, and rest
Melatonin rises and cortisol falls. Skin loses the most water and renews itself overnight. Nourish, then wind down.

Simplify
Hormones at their lowest; iron is lost and energy dips. Mineral-rich nettle, clearing rosemary, lavender for crampy evenings, a nourishing oil for drier skin.

Steady
Oestrogen climbs; energy, mood and insulin sensitivity are at their best. A bright morning cup and a nourishing breakfast habit.

At ease
Oestrogen peaks and skin elasticity is highest. A cooling hibiscus cup and a lighter touch on skin.

Every body is different, and cycles vary. This is guidance for noticing your own rhythm, not a medical schedule. Please read the notes on each product, especially during pregnancy or if you take regular medication.

NTFDP · Non Timber Forest Derived Products
From the forest, not at the cost of the forest.
Flowers, fruits, seeds, leaves and resins: what a forest offers without a single tree being cut. For generations, families in the Himalayas have gathered them carefully, in season, always leaving enough for the plant to return. The UN's Food and Agriculture Organization recognises these as non-timber forest products, and India's Forest Rights Act protects the communities who gather them.
NTFDP is our promise to source every Himalyan Naturals ingredient the same careful way, and to be able to tell you exactly where it came from.
Harvested to regenerate
Not only can it be harvested, but can it be harvested so the plant returns next season?
In its season
Flowers when they flower, fruit when it fruits. We work with the forest's calendar, not against it.
Guided by those who know
Himalayan communities know which plants grow where, when to gather and how much to leave. We learn from them.
Fair to the gatherer
Most forest gathering in India is done by women. A fair share of value should stay in the hills.
Traceable to its source
Where did this botanical grow? Every ingredient should be able to answer that question.
From the founder
From a Himalayan herb farm to a conversation about women's midlife.
In 2010, a 28-day bike journey through Uttarakhand brought me to Chopta, in the Garhwal Himalayas. What followed was a small herb farm in the hills, built partly to give young people a reason not to leave them, and a slow education in what the forest can give and what it cannot.
Formulating from those botanicals taught me something I had not expected. Skin is not a surface. It is an endocrine organ, listening to the same hormonal signals as the rest of the body. When those signals shift, across perimenopause and menopause, women feel it in their skin, their sleep, their mood and their sense of self, and are too often told it is simply age.
That is why I founded Global Menopause Collective: doctors, nutritionists, psychologists, movement practitioners and researchers working together, because no single speciality can explain the whole woman. From that work came Endo Neutral, a way of choosing products and ways of living that do not disturb the body unnecessarily.
Himalyan Naturals is where that thinking becomes something you can hold.

Notes on hormones, skin and midlife
Education first. Written through the lens of the Endo Neutral framework.
The Quiet Collapse We Call Normal Life
Waking before the alarm, a tight chest, the phone already demanding something. Burnout rarely arrives dramatically. It settles in, and the body begins to speak, often...
Confused Within, Burnt Out Outside
Midlife is often described as a story about hormones. For many women it is also the moment responsibility peaks. On transition, permission, and why you are...
Why Perimenopause Makes More Sense Together
A century-old experiment at a village fair explains something important about perimenopause: alone, the signals feel random. Together, a pattern appears.
Men, Midlife and the Endocrine Conversation
Women have navigated perimenopause largely in silence, and the men around them have been expected to stay on the edges. That arrangement has failed everyone. A...
Why Midlife Often Shows Up in the Skin First
Skin is not just a surface we decorate. It responds to hormones, and makes some of its own. Which is why, in perimenopause, many women notice...
What Is an Endocrine Disruptor? A Calm Guide
A plain-language guide to endocrine-disrupting chemicals: what they are, where they appear, what the science does and does not yet say, and how to reduce exposure...
